We have a week under our belts, so that means we can make some judgements on teams and reshuffle our favorites polls. At the top, things remained pretty static, with Washington keeping the No. 1 spot, but Stanford does have some votes. Utah did jump a spot, leaping USC, and some of us have Utah at No. 2 going into this week. After the first week, I don’t think that’s a stretch at this point. Stanford had a good showing in week one, but I’m not sure if I see Stanford living by the pass. Colorado and ASU also jumped this week after nice week one performances.
As for the bottom half, Arizona took a nose dive after that joke of a performance against BYU. What kind of play calling was that? UCLA dived too after a terrible loss to Cincinnati in the Rose Bowl. Chip Kelly has a ways to go after week one, and going to OU isn’t going to help. Most of the movement was in the bottom half of the league this week, but teams some chances to move up this coming week.
