Praise continues to pour in this week for Megan Huff, senior forward for the University of Utah women’s basketball team. Huff has been named Pac-12 Player of the Week for the second time this season after helping the Utes to a sweep of the Bay Area schools this weekend.
Averaging 20.5 points between the games, Huff was the key ingredient in the team’s wins over California on Friday and Stanford on Sunday.
In the game against California, Huff finished with 24 points, nine rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals. It was the 10thtime this season she’s scored 20 plus points, which ranks fifth in the Pac-12.
Huff followed up her performance with her 10thdouble-double of the season, racking up 17 points and 13 rebounds against Stanford. She is second in the Pac-12 and tied for 20thnationally in double-doubles.
Utah’s win over Stanford helped the Utes jump seven spots in the AP Top 25, landing at 14.
The Utes return to action on Friday, February 1stwhen they take off Oregon at the Matthew Knight Arena.
