How to watch Utah take on Arizona State

NCAA Football: Utah at Oregon State Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

Big game! It’s a ranked match up between the No. 13 Utah Utes (5-1, 2-1 Pac-12) and the No. 17 Arizona State Sun Devils (5-1. 2-1 Pac-12) at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Both squads are looking to keep pace for the division title. Both teams have losses to other division foes, and both teams sit at 2-1 in league play.

The Utes are coming off blasting the Oregon State Beavers on the road a week ago 52-7, with the return of Zack Moss. It was one of the most dominating performances we’ve seen from Utah since joining the league. Utah dominated both sides of the ball and did whatever they wanted. Tyler Huntley was sharp, as he has been all season long, and the offensive line had as good of a performance as they have had this season. It’s a much stiffer test today against a solid Sun Devils defense. This is the kind of game where I think ASU is going to sell out to stop the fun game and make Huntley beat them. The Devils have a good run defense, but have given up some yards through the air.

On defense, it’s about stopping Eno Benjamin and getting to Jayden Daniels. Arizona State’s offensive line is young and not great, so it will be up to the front seven to dominate this matchup and confuse the young quarterback. The is the type of game where experience will be a key factor, as these two teams are on the opposite end of the spectrum in that area. I don’t think ASU can grind out drives, so Utah has to eliminate the big play.
