How to watch Utah take on Cal

NCAA Football: Arizona State at Utah Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Utes are back after a physical game against Arizona State a week ago. The Utes pulled off the big over the Devils, and remain in prime position the the Pac-12 South. There are some injury questions for the Utes, namely with Tyler Huntley. Utah’s QB stated during the week that he was going to play, and I’ll be a little surprised if that’s not the case. I think the question would be how is his mobility in the pocket? If he’s a statue back there, Cal will bring the heat and try to neutralize Zack Moss. Regardless, there will be tough sledding against a stout Cal defense, so the Utes will need to remain patient, as they should be able to wear down a thin Cal team.

On defense, it’s a mash unit for Cal, so expect Morgan Scalley to bring the heat against a freshman quarterback and young, patchwork offensive line. I’m so excited to see what this group does, especially considering Oregon State sacked Cal eight times a week ago.

Cal is coming off that bad loss at home against the Beavers, so there will be a serious level of desperation from this group. It’s the Pac-12, the Utes can’t take these Bears lightly.
