Home game number five is on the docket, and it is the Cal Golden Bears that are in town to take on the Utes. Utah, now sitting at 6-1 (3-1) on the season, are looking to keep the momentum rolling as they take on a struggling Cal team that is coming in with a third string, starting freshman quarterback, and a patchwork offensive line. With personnel like that, and with Washington waiting in the wings next week, these does have some makings of a classic trap game. With that said, with Cal having some nice wins on the season, including against that same Washington team in Seattle, I have little doubt that they have Utah’s full attention.
Sounds like virtually everybody, including Tyler Huntley is a go tonight, so it’s be great to see Utah take care of business to get some of those banged up bodies some rest going into next week. Being in the Pac-12, however, we know how that usually goes.
Buckle in, turn all your devices into dark mode, and let’s watch some Utah football!
Go Utes!
