Utah gymnastics will take over the Huntsman Center for one final meet against the 9th ranked Michigan Wolverines, giving fans one last chance to pay their respect to the 2019 senior class.
Headlined by long-time stars including Kari Lee, Shannon McNatt, Macey Roberts and local hero MaKenna Merrell-Giles, four Utes are poised to perform for the last time in front of another sold out crowd before returning to Salt Lake on March 23 to compete in the PAC-12 championship a few miles south at the Maverick Center.
Possibly joining the four star seniors in her final meet is fan favorite MyKayla Skinner, who is rumored to be foregoing her senior season in an attempt to qualify for the United States Olympics team one last time. As Utah’s unquestioned leader, the loss of Skinner would undoubtedly leave the Utes looking for their next big star to carry the brand going into the 2020 season, with Missy Reinstadler being the lone Ute left on the current roster who competes in the all-around.
Coverage for Saturday’s meet is available on the PAC-12 Network starting at 2:00 PM MT.
