Washington State Cougars at No. 19 Utah Utes Open Thread

NCAA Football: Utah at Washington State James Snook-USA TODAY Sports

The No. 19 Utah Utes suffered their first loss of the season last week at the USC Trojans, falling to 0-1 in Pac-12 play, but they will look to bounce back tonight against the Washington State Cougars, who are coming off a disappointing loss at home to the UCLA Bruins. WSU blew a 32-point lead in the second half. Weather is expected to be a factor tonight with rain, wind, and lightning all possible.

Utah will look to stop WSU’s air raid offense that has given them fits for years. They are coming off a poor showing against USC’s version of the air raid. The talent level at USC is higher than WSU, but WSU has the scheme more dialed in. We will see what adjustments Utah makes from last week.

The Utah offense is likely to be without star running back Zack Moss and will feature a hobbled Tyler Huntley. Can the line bounce back from a rough game against USC? The offense is going to need to score tonight to beat WSU even with the probable bad weather.
