If the Utah football program can have the same level of success on the field as they’ve been having off in 2021, then it’s going to be one hell of a season. The Utes have made big moves in the transfer portal, and a few weeks ago, a few QBs committed out of high school, and now they’re adding a couple of kids out of Texas and Georgia.
On Thursday morning, Georgia wide receiver Adarrius Harshaw announced his commitment to the program. Harshaw, a 5-10 155-pound three-star rated recruited by 247 Sports, holds a scholarship offer from one Power Five school in Maryland and a bunch of Group of Five schools like USF and Toledo.
Later in the day, the Utes received the commitment from Texas safety Jeffrey Ugo. Ugo is also listed as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports. The 6-1 180 pounds DB has that safety pride look to him and isn’t scared to lay the wood on someone. Ugo holds an offer from Indiana and offers from Group of Five schools Utah State and San Diego State.
The Utes now has six players committed as part of their 2022 recruiting class.
