Utes Ranked No. 24 in Preseason AP Poll

NCAA Football: Washington State at Utah Jeffrey Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

After falling outside of the Coaches Poll by just one spot last week, the Utes are in the preseason top 25 for the AP Poll, coming in at No. 24. Utah joins four other Pac-12 teams with Oregon (11), USC (15), Washington (20), and ASU (25). UCLA also picked up some votes.

At the top of the poll are Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and OU. It’s almost like groundhog day up there, and I hope we see those teams knocked off at some point this season. Outside of Alabama, I think those other three may be vulnerable, but there’s a chance we have the same narrative through this season as we’ve seen over the last handful.

Here’s the full top 25:

  1. Alabama
  2. Oklahoma
  3. Clemson
  4. Ohio State
  5. Georgia
  6. Texas A&M
