• Pick Six Previews picked Utah to go to the 2022 CFP in its 2022 Season Preview. Pick Six Previews has a history of being very accurate. They last predicted Utah to make the Playoffs in 2019 when Utah was in a “win-and-in” scenario in the Pac-12 Championship game. Unfortunately, we all remember how that ended.

• Kyle Whittingham was ranked the #8 Head Coach in college football by On3 Sports.

• Whittingham was also named to the 2022 Dodd Trophy preseason watchlist. Coach Whittingham already has one Dodd Trophy (2022).

In Basketball News...

• Former Runnin’ Ute, Delon Wright, will be reunited with another former Ute, Kyle Kuzma, in DC with the Washington Wizards.

• Wright said that Kuzma helped seal the deal in bringing him to DC.

• The Runnin’ Utes 2022 recruiting class is complete.

• Levani Key-Powell committed to Utah Volleyball. Levani is the daughter of Utah Defensive Line coach Lewis Powell

• Former Ute, CJ Cron, was selected as an MLB All-Star. This is Cron’s first All-Star nod in his 9 year career and I believe the first MLB All-Star selection of any former Ute.
