Here is the latest news from campus and around the Pac-12, after the Easter weekend.

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! Here is the latest news to come from University of Utah athletics, and from around the Pac-12.

Trevor Reilly

One of Ute fans favorite players, Trevor Reilly, sat down and answered some questions from Dirk Facer of the Deseret News. Reilly talked about his journey to the NFL, the spring game, and the football program.

Softball loses game to Stanford, but wins series

Utah softball lost to Stanford at home on Saturday. Despite the 12-11 loss, Utah took the series from the Cardinal two games to one. Softball returns to the field today against UVU.

Baseball falls to UCLA, again

On Saturday, Utah's baseball team once again lost to UCLA with a score of 7-3. Utah will travel down to Orem to take on UVU Tuesday.

School record broken in 10,000-meter

Rebekah Winterton, of the women's track team, broke the school record in the 10,000-meter race at the Mt. Sac Relays Friday, while placing third.

Around the Pac-12

ASU had their spring game Saturday

Many other Pac-12 programs also had their spring game on Saturday, one of which was ASU. The winners of the game got steak, while the losers got tuna fish sandwiches. At the end of the day, it was Taylor Kelly's maroon team that took the win, 29-23.

USC began its Steve Sarkisian era Saturday

The men of Troy also took the field Saturday for their spring finale. The game turned out to be a defensive battle, in front of 20,000 people at the Coliseum. Team Cardinal ended up pulling out the win, 16-15.
