Austin Lee initially signed in 2012 but served a two year LDS mission. He has enrolled in classes and will participate in spring ball.
The Draper, Utah native was a three-star rated 24/7 composite recruit coming out of Alta High School. As a junior, Lee totaled 101 tackles, two sacks, one interception, 14 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. As a senior, he led Alta with 41 tackles, a half sack, an interception, nine pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.

At 6-feet tall and 187 pounds, Lee is listed as a defensive back for the Utes. It will be interesting to see what kind of speed Lee has, and if he can play and keep up with Pac-12 level wideouts.
