Alta S Quinn Fabrizio to join Utes after LDS mission

Quinn Fabrizio, a composite 24/7 three-star safety from Alta High School in Sandy, Utah, will attend an LDS mission and join the Utes in the 2017 class. The 6-foot-3, 210 pound recruit will be joining Morgan Scalley and his crew in the secondary. Just like Scalley, Steve Tate and others, Fabrizio is joining the #SafteyPride fraternity.

In three seasons seasons (2012-2015) at Alta, Fabrizio had 146 tackles (76 solo), two interceptions and four tackles for loss. At almost 210 pounds, and around a 4.5, 40 - Fabrizio isn't far off of being ready for some playtime. He just needs to bulk up a little bit, and he could potentially be a very good strong safety.

While Utah did miss out on some key local recruits, picking up Fabrizio is a very good addition to the program.

Quinn Fabrizio had offers from Wisconsin, BYU, Colorado, Washington and Washington State, as well as had interest from other schools around the country.

Welcome to the Utah family, Quinn!
