Here we are Utah fans! It's been a crazy 24 hours, with Utah grinding out a tough, hard fought win over the Cal Bears in the Pac-12 Tournament semifinals. Now for the Utes, is an opportunity to take another step in the process of being a Pac-12 contender, and that's to win the Pac-12 Tournament Championship. To do that, they have to beat a team they've only beaten once since joining the conference, the Oregon Ducks.
The Ducks have had Utah's number, especially this year. Oregon was Utah's lone loss at the Huntsman Center, and they did so easily. Utah fought much harder up in Eugene, but still was outclassed by the Ducks, especially Dillon Brooks, who drop 30 on the Utes. Many fans, and players, wanted to see Oregon in the Pac-12 tournament, to have a shot at redemption, well here it is. Both of these teams are solidify locked in the 2- or 3-seed category for the NCAA Tournament. So it's all about the hardware, as this is something Utah has clawed toward since joining the league, and even since their 1-3 start to open conference play this season.
It's the championship!
