Football creeps ever closer with the release of game times and TV channels for three games.

Is it August yet? It just can't seem to get here soon enough! Well, to give you a taste of football, and so you can do some advanced planning for travel and tailgating, three games on the Utes schedule now have kickoff times.

Utah's season opening game against the mighty Idaho State Bengals will kick off at Rice-Eccles Stadium Thursday, August 28th at 5:30pm MDT - the game will be telecast on Pac-12 Networks.

Utah's week two opponent, defending Mountain West Conference champion Fresno State, will also happen at home, but the game will kickoff Saturday, September 6th at 1pm MDT - also on Pac-12 Networks. This game may be one of the rare early afternoon kickoffs we see this coming season.

The third game time announced is for the Oregon State game that is in Corvallis this year, on Thursday, October 16th at 8pm MDT on Fox Sports 1. Utah and Oregon State will both be coming off a BYE going into this matchup.

The rest of the game times will likely be announced a week prior to any matchup, to give ESPN and Fox the option to pick up any of the high profile games at that point in the season.

The last couple of seasons have had a lot of 8pm kickoff times, hopefully we won't see many more than the one against OSU this coming year.

Three games with three different start times, with an early afternoon, a late afternoon, and a late night start. Of those three different start times, which do you prefer? Early, midday, or late night?
