We are two weeks away from the opening of the 2014 season versus the mighty Idaho State Bengals at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Through fall camp thus far, the quarterback battle is still up in the air, while Travis Wilson remains the front runner. The return of Brian Blechen and addition of Tevin Carter have bolstered a secondary in need. Meanwhile, the Utes lost one corner with Reggie Porter going down a couple days ago. The running backs are looking good, as is the o-line.
The question going into the last couple of days before starting game prep is, can the Utes remain healthy going into the opener? After the offense struggled in the first scrimmage, can they bounce back and find a rhythm, specifically at quarterback? While the team is looking more talented, there are still some more pieces that need to fall into place for this team going into the season.
