Utah football signs LB Chris Hart

Utah football has announced the signing of Christopher Hart, a composite 24/7 three-star linebacker from St Thomas Aquinas in Fort Launderdale, Florida.  The 6-foot-1, 238 pound signee will be toadding needed depth linebacker, but could also play defensive end. Hart will be joining his friend and teammate from St Thomas Aquinas, Tyson Cisrow.

Hart is rather quick at his size. He's been clocked with about a 4.7, 40 and is comparable to Gionni Paul in a lot of ways. Thanks to Dennis Erickson and his connections in Florida, like Paul, Erickson was able to pull in both Hart and Cisrow from the Sunshine State.

With the losses in the linebacking corps after this coming 2015 season, Hart will have an opportunity to play rather early in his career.

Hart was receiving offers from all over the country, including most of the Big 10 and ACC, such as Miami (FL), Pitt, Louisville, Texas A&M, Wisconsin and more.

Welcome to Utah Chris!
