Previewing the 2016 Utah Football Quarterback battle with Mark Rogers TV

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

Coming off tying for the Pac-12 South title in 2015, the Utah football team finds themselves looking for their first new starter at quarterback since 2012. The Utes are looking to replace four year starter Travis Wilson, who was a controversial player for Utah, with his up and down play, and his up and down health.

I joined Mark Rogers on his YouTube channel a while back to talk about the QB race, and I did my best to handicap how I think the race will pan out. I talk about each of the contenders, Troy Williams, Brandon Cox and Tyler Huntley. I told Mark what I've been saying all along that Williams is likely the starter in 2016, but Huntley is without a doubt the future of the program. I do mention that Cox had a better spring than I expected him too, and the injury to Williams really helped him get a lot more opportunities.

Give a listen to my chat with Mark as we talk about Utah signal callers.
